Birthday, Family and Fun!!

Friday was my 58th birthday. Saturday our family got together to celebrate.
We always enjoy it when everyone can come over. The grandkids are watching me open my birthday present. Thanks everyone for a great birthday

Here everyone is playing the Wii. Lee has a monster truck game. After everyone left I gave it a try and it was fun.
I'm still opening my present. This is a rare picture of Sean, I don't think he likes his picture taken.

Same with Doug. Or maybe we are so busy always taking pictures of the kids that we just don't take any of them.

Kaylee and Chance playing.

Here is a picture of Kaylee, she is getting so tall.
And here it is, a Wii Fit. Now I really need to get busy.

Shaylyn standing on my bed.

All the girls are being silly on my bed, with my new comforter.
Me and the girls, what a lovely picture.
Jodi and Brooke needed to borrow some pennies for Kaylee to do an experiment. I think she was trying find out how many pennies you could put on a wet paper towel before they broke through. We haven't got our pennies back yet.
Brooke acting silly.

Lee took this picture the other day, looks like snow, it's not, it's ice.

Just a few pictures!

Every time Brooke comes over she wants Grandpa to help her put her hand prints in the rug, this is the latest. They signed their names this time. At least she is easy to entertain.

Just can't resist a face like this.

The three youngest were over last weekend for a couple hours and of course they talked Grandpa into playing Trouble. I am very grateful that he doesn't mind playing games with them.

But I guess I had to do something for them. Thanks Jodi for sending the nail polish over, I did do a great job though. (Brooke had already fallen asleep).

It is hard to believe how fast and how young they are when they start playing with all the new electronic stuff and how easy it is for them, makes you feel kind of, well, not so smart for our age. DS's for everyone and I think one of them is mine.

We helped Jodi out the other morning and here is Cierra coming down stairs all ready for school. Isn't she pretty, and the shirt does very well at describing her.

Connor helping Grandpa fix something that got broken at Jodi's.

Kaylee showing me some goodies she made.

Shaylyn likes to come to Austin's basketball games. This is her with her new haircut. Isn't she a cutie.

Austin's first basketball game, he really loves playing. (He's the one on the left). We can't ever get very good pictures in that gym.

Starting a New Year!

Here are a few special Christmas presents from our family. An actual book with pictures of the Grankids and wall hanging that has Grandma & Papa with all the Grandkids names over the top. The girls are very talented. Thanks, we do love our Grandkids.

I had bought some jigsaw puzzles at Christmas time, thinking the grandkids might like putting one together. We decided to give it a try. We started Saturday night and this is where we are as of this morning. We have done pretty good, but the outside edges are a real bugger.

Lee is really getting into it.
Everyone knows that the weather has been really crazy lately. This is a picture out our front door as of this morning.

This is a picture taken on the 2nd.
