My Sisters and Running in the cold!

Me, Teri and Coralee, youngest to the oldest (had to put that in since I will always be the youngest). My sisters and I don't have many chances for all of us to get together now. Coralee and her husband Lance are traveling the United States and flew home to see family, so we had to take the opportunity to get together and visit. Teri is in Eastern Washington, but we are able to get together to go fishing or hunting. It was great that we were able to get together, poor Applebee's didn't think we would ever leave, then we made them take our picture. I love my sisters very much.

Mindy and Jodi did a run in the freezing cold. See the ice on the little pond. It was so cold I stayed in the car.

Here they are getting ready to take off. I love them both exactly the same ( a little joke between us).

Mindy finishing up. She did great and we are so proud of her.

Jodi ran a longer race then Mindy, here she is finishing. She is amazing.

Thanksgiving and More!

Here we are, the dinner is all ready and we are dishing up. Hours to get ready and ten minutes to eat.

Dinners over and here comes the fun, getting ready for Black Friday. The Grandkids are putting in their requests.

Kaylee being silly and Connor getting down to business.

Brooke, the cutie pie. What is with all the Cowboy stuff.

Austin wants to make sure he doesn't miss out on anything.

Shaylyn and Cierra playing Monopoly.

Chance buttering up his parents.

Grandpa taking it all in.
We not only have the ads, we also have the computer to check it all out.

Brooke is brushing Grandpa's hair, she loves fixing his hair, not that there is to much you can do with it. I know he enjoys it.

The 29th was our 40th anniversary. Yes, 40th, that is just not possible. Here are some flowers from Teri and Bill. Look at this beautiful bloom. Wish they would last forever. Thanks Teri and Bill.

We had some windows replaced this past summer. We just replaced the glass because the old ones had "failed" and had stuff between the panes. Well Lee was up early and watching TV (probably some hunting show) and he heard this big bang, like a pipe might have busted. No it was our new window cracking. He heard it crack all the way from the top to the bottom. They are coming out Thursday to replace it. Glad it just cracked and didn't shatter. The window guy said it must have gotten chipped during installation. Glad they are paying for it and not us.

Celebrating Shaylyn's 7th birthday!

Last weekend all the kids and grandkids came over to celebrate Shaylyn's birthday. We had pizza and Caesar salad. Shaylyn opened her presents and then cake and ice cream. It is always nice when the family comes over, grandkids get kind of rowdy when they can't go outside. Here are some pictures of Shaylyn opening her presents, I think she got what she wanted.
Happy birthday Shaylyn, hope it was a great one!!

Boots like her Mom's.

The rest of the grandkids are right in there, seeing what she got.

It is so nice now that the kids are getting older, we can give them money instead of trying to figure out what they want.

Cierra didn't want me to take her picture, I guess because she got a new hairdo. I think it looks great.

Shay coloring with all her new colored pencils.

They love to sit with Grandpa.

Sometimes I get in the pictures too.

Hunting trip!

Some pictures from our hunting trip. Doug and Chance came with us for a few days. We met up with Teri and Bill at camp, they had gotten there a few days earlier then us. We had family coming and going the whole time we were there. Even though the hunting was not successful we had a good time. This was Chance's first year hunting, I think he had a good time and will continue to go. It was cold, rainy, snowy, sunny and even very windy, we had a bit of everything. Before we got to camp Teri, Bill and Mike were there when a big tree fell in the woods. The trees were huge and they were a little concerned.

I about froze, I did everything to keep warm. We were dry camping so we had to conserve on everything.

Mindy, Austin and Shaylyn came to pick up Chance so he could go back to school. Doug stayed a few more days. Here we are around the campfire.

Mushrooms, I don't know if we asked Bill what kind they are, he knows all about mushrooms.

Shaylyn with her fire poking stick.

This was the day we left, the snow was coming down pretty hard for awhile. This is the tent where some of the boys stayed in.

Teri and Bill's trailer.

Our trailer. 11 days is a long time to be camping, but I actually had a good time. The guys were disappointed that no one got anything, maybe next year.

Mindy needed me to help her with a little project for the 1st graders at school. I haven't done much sewing lately and fortunately it wasn't real hard. We made book bags for the kids.

The finished product. Don't tell Mindy but I had fun doing it!
