Yellowstone National Park!!

Every year I get two fushia baskets from the kids. Every year the birds build nests in them. This year we found one in a little tree that is planted in the back yard. It is fun watching them hatch and fly away.

The nest.

Off to Yellowstone National Park.

This is the first RV park we stayed at. Nothing very exciting.

The first Buffalo we saw. They are huge and kind of scary.

Old Faithful.
People waiting to see it go off.

Here it goes. Very impressive.

This is a herd of buffalo with their babies.
Beaver Dam

Lots of amazing things to see.

Beautiful pools of hot water.

The original entrance to the park.

The only petrified tree in the park.

Beautiful scenery.

Eagle and it's nest.

The town had some interesting art work.

Bill's mother used to run this restaurant in this building that was built in 1890.

An old caboose across the street from the restaurant.

We went to a museum about the Oregon Trail. It's was really interesting.

We had a very nice vacation and saw a lot of things. We enjoyed spending time with Teri and Bill.

Quads, old pictures and new ones!

We took a trip down to Florence Oregon to ride quads. We went with Jay and Penny and lots and lots of other people. The weather was good, rained a couple of nights. On the most part the weather was great. No one got hurt and everyone had a good time. Campfires at night and riding during the day. Well, I didn't ride as much as the others, but that gave Lee a chance to go out by himself and be crazy. Here are a few pictures.

This is one of the whole group, lots of people lots of quads.

Lee and I in the RZR.

Now I have some old pictures that were on our camera that I thought was broken.

Now a few new ones. This is at Austin and Connor's baseball game. They are on different teams but will be playing each other several times. That will be easier for us.

What a Wonderful Vacation!!

Lee and I went to the Mariners spring training in Peoria, Arizona. We drove and made a few stops on the way there and on the way back. It is a long drive, but we broke it up enough to make it perfect. We went to three games while we were there. One was a night game and most of the starters played. The stadium was full, one game you couldn't even see the grass on the berm there were so many people. We met a lot of people from Washington. One guy told us about a nice restaurant, we decided why not and it was so good, we just loved it. Of course there was the Inn & Out burger, surprisingly we only ate there twice. We stayed in Peoria for 5 days. We had the best hotel, couldn't ask for anything better. We both really hated to leave. On the way home we stopped at Las Vegas and Reno. We had fun there but the money just seems to slip away, always wanting to hit the big one.

Of course the first thing Lee needed was a new hat.

This was the highlight of my trip. At the last game we went to, we were just hanging out while the crowd thinned out. They then were having this "Stroll of Honor." People were walking the bases and then they would say who they were honoring. Telling the names of someone they know that had or has cancer. Lee did it, he did it for me and all our family and friends that have or had cancer. It was an honor. If you would like to see the video it is on strikeoutcancernow.com, the video for March 17.

If you ever wondered how they get the names in the ball field, this is how. They use a broom. Now I know

Felix!

Ichiro!

And of course Junior!

Just before we got to Peoria we stopped and had lunch with Teri and Bill. It was a stop for them on their 4 month trip. It was fun seeing them way down there.
(Yes, Teri. I stole your picture!)
We went to a beautiful park and got some nice pictures.

On the way out of town!

Reno!

Hoover Dam. Pretty amazing!

This is Walker Lake, it is a beautiful blue, but nothing around it.

And now we have snow!

Mt. Shasta!

Girls only!

Mindy, Jodi and myself went to the ocean for a few days. Mother, daughter bonding. We stayed in the cabin that Lee and I did just after Christmas, I think that is my new favorite place to go. We just rested and talked, had a great time talking about the fun things in our past. Thanks to the guys for making it possible for us to go!

This is about 15 minutes after we arrived. I was there also, but I just had to get the camera. My little darlings! Nice little nap.

Jodi after her 12 mile run. Mindy ran also, she'll be up to 12 miles in no time.

When we walked down to the beach we were trying to figure out how to use this outhouse. There weren't any stairs up to it.

We had a nice walk on the beach, the weather was perfect. The girls picked up shells for the kids.

Brooke's Birthday Party and Kisses by the RZR!!

Wednesday Brooke turned 5 and today she had her birthday party and did she have fun! Presents, pizza, cake, ice cream and lots of little friends and family too.

Started off with pizza and of course there wasn't enough room at the table, so the floor worked out just fine.

Presents were next and a lot of presents she did get. Barbies seemed to be the theme for the day.

Of course you can't have a birthday party without cake and ice cream. Here is Brooke blowing out her candles.

If you had 15 girls and a couple boys and family, you would look like this too. Sean is always helpful with the clean up.

Mindy is looking so good I had to take some pictures of her.

Everything went really well. All the kids were really good and no major problems came up. They all had a good time and Brooke loved being the center of attention. Why not you only turn 5 once!

Kaylee with her friend. Showing off her new haircut and a little makeup. She can't possibly be old enough to wear makeup. I guess I just don't want her or any of the grandkids to grow up, but they sure are!!

Lee and I went over to my sister's, Teri and Bill's, for a few days. We took the RZR and did a little riding in the orchards by their house. It was fun, but it was freezing out. Just a little kiss for Lee.
