Lee and I went to the Mariners spring training in Peoria, Arizona. We drove and made a few stops on the way there and on the way back. It is a long drive, but we broke it up enough to make it perfect. We went to three games while we were there. One was a night game and most of the starters played. The stadium was full, one game you couldn't even see the grass on the berm there were so many people. We met a lot of people from Washington. One guy told us about a nice restaurant, we decided why not and it was so good, we just loved it. Of course there was the Inn & Out burger, surprisingly we only ate there twice. We stayed in Peoria for 5 days. We had the best hotel, couldn't ask for anything better. We both really hated to leave. On the way home we stopped at Las Vegas and Reno. We had fun there but the money just seems to slip away, always wanting to hit the big one.
Of course the first thing Lee needed was a new hat.
This was the highlight of my trip. At the last game we went to, we were just hanging out while the crowd thinned out. They then were having this "Stroll of Honor." People were walking the bases and then they would say who they were honoring. Telling the names of someone they know that had or has cancer. Lee did it, he did it for me and all our family and friends that have or had cancer. It was an honor. If you would like to see the video it is on strikeoutcancernow.com, the video for March 17.

I watched the video of the Stroll of Honor. I cried when I saw Lee. Yes, Kay he is a very special man. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I loved your pictures.
Sounds like your vacation was awesome especially the Stroll of Honor. I have always been thankful you have such a great husband. He is lucky to have you as his wife. The pictures of the desert were great.
